Sports/deep tissue massage can be a little uncomfortable and is only a 'good' pain however, you are the one in control, the pressure applied is determined by you.

What do I need to wear for my appointment?​
Only the body parts that are being treated will be exposed. If you are wanting your legs massaged then shorts/underwear will be worn at all times no upper items of clothing will need to be removed and vice versa.

Do I need to be a sportsman to have a sports massage?
Sports massage will benefit anyone, whether you are a athlete or work at a desk or long distance driving. Sports massage aids in reducing any muscular aches and pains.
Are there circumstances when massage during pregnancy is not advisable?​
Pregnancy massage is not advised in the first 12 weeks of becoming pregnant as to avoid any liability due to the increased risk of miscarriage in these first few weeks.

There are some instances when massage may not be appropriate, particularly if it is a high-risk pregnancy.
It is advisable to check with your doctor or midwife before having a massage.

What position will I be in during a pregnancy massage?​
The best position during a massage is on your side with pillows for support. This provides the most stability for the baby and also most comfortable position for you.
